Hello everyone!
This is Jessica Wong from Communication Studies, UWA.
Here is a link I found from youtube.
This short movie is called "Ghost in the Shell" which reveals the imagination of a cyborg.
At the beginning of the movie, it shows a human-like machine. i.e. Different metalize elements formed a "human body"-the shell. The machine has a human-like face, and it was painted with some kind of liquid. Later on, the liquid dried. It became a "natural" part of the machine. The outer surface shed and a new "skin"(more similar to human's skin) was formed . It then became a "cyborg"- the mixture of a robort and "human" as it contains the outlook and some basic elements of a human e.g. face and skin.
It also brought up the idea of a "dreamed cyborg with feminine character"- perfect skin and body shape (with big breast and femininity.)
Hope you would enjoy the clip.
Thank you.
